Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

Any new info on layoffs?

Is there a truth to the rumors that people are being put under more scrutiny by design so they can be fired instead of laid off? Any layoffs coming? I heard about the number of people laid off in Dec, nothing much afterwards.

Yep, they're giving tiny raises, but increasing the workload to force people to quit. 2 resignations and 2 medical leaves in my department this month, and the work keeps piling up. Never been treated this bad by an employer in my entire career.

Oh yeah, they are trying to demotivate and demoralize employees to quit, or give verbal or written warnings or simple firings to good employees to threaten them to jump ship. Molina gonna be in the news as a profit maximizer and human paying minimizer and providing sh**y healthcare. Profit over Profit. Do the opposite of what these clowns say. ZERO TRUST for this organization from he-l.

Good Afternoon

My name is Rachel Dalloo, I’m a reporter with Health Payer Specialist at the Financial Times. I am reaching out because I would like to get more information on the layoffs that happened back in December and earlier this month at Molina. I also would like to learn more about the upcoming layoffs that’s supposedly happening at the beginning of March.

I am hoping to touch base with someone who is knowledgeable on the matter and who can provide an estimate of how many people were affected by both layoffs and which departments were targeted.

You can best reach me if you are available to talk at rdalloo@money-media.com and I am available via cell at 646-392-5066.

Thank You.

We were instructed to rate annual reviews low and to put pressure on all low hanging fruit in hopes that they will find other jobs rather than be laid off. We are also discontinuing tuition reimbursement. Although it is still listed as a benefit, it is “at the department discretion” to allow it, and it is absent from our budgets.

More layoffs coming in early March. Prepare your resumes. No one is safe, not leaders or individual contributors.
