Are there going to be layoffs in fiber sales? Has anyone heard of any big changes happening soon?

AT&T just wants all of the US taxpayer money they can get from FCC fiber pork buildout. Too funny but T can’t even get its face in the DC pig trough!!!!! Charter and VZ cleaning up at the fiber pork broadband trough.

If the sales figures are correct I would assume they will hit that 30 million mark before the end of 25. Spoke with a guy in that organization and they hit the ground running at the beginning of the year. Unless the economy takes a hit or Stankey pull a Stephenson and changes the strategy. Stephenson once said we were a wireless company and then proceeded to wreck the balance sheet with stupid acquisitions.
Sales doesn’t get layoffs. You get put on a coaching plan for not hitting your impossible target and then forced out.

There will continue to be fiber sales but in what form? The company officers keep saying on track for 30 million locations passed by year end 2025 and possibly another 10-15 more million added on top. Having better than expected customer growth.
