Straight white male, not in a hub. So I’m not getting a promotion anyways.
So given today's DEI corporate landscape, this will just mean no more white guys in the office then because hey, why bother?
I’d take that offer.
Its near impossible to get promoted anyway.
At the Baich town hall this week someone asked about lack of promotion opportunities and he basically punted on the question saying you have to remain at the top of your game and wait for people to retire. Meanwhile, he hired some guy he used to work with from outside the company who immediately started s*cking up to him about how great it was to work with him at their old company.
not being part of the friends and family gang, i have already reached the max level I can attain ... this would be great for me ..I could go full on RIP mode stress fee - Retired in Place
I'd be good with that. Its near impossible to get promoted anyway.
That balances out the unfair economics of work from home. Think about the commute and childcare costs that remote employees aren't paying. And the amount of errands they do during the day. All while the office based employees carry their workload.
Since T doesn't promote anyway sounds like it would be a WIN. Oh. HAPPY employees? Nah, don't want to change that current corporate culture!!! Stanley goes to sleep thinking "must keep employees depressed, stressed, and demoralized. Tis the Company Culture"
I’m not in a hub so there is no promotions for me anyways. So I would see this as a win.
It’s time to move on.
Or
YOU can go get a job at Dell.
T has the better policy. No play, no stay.
