@2ppg+1rCv11n5 (a.k.a. "NOT Blood Bath in Des Moines" Guy)

Just checking in. Want to make sure you saw the Iowa WARN notifications. If not, you might want to see that there was NOT a Blood Bath in Des Moines, there was the uber normal layoffs of less than 50. This time around it was a whopping 13 souls laid off. Not trying to minimalize it for those folks because we are a small tight nit community. But, those people who's only schtick is to demoralize your fellow team members in other cities should just keep their mouths shut and leave the updates to people with boots on the ground.

To "Blood Bath in Des Moines" Guy: You're a joke and obviously not a good person. Keep up your troll postings from your mums basement though, it's at least entertaining.

I'm not "Des Moines guy", and your assumption to the contrary likely mirrors the accuracy of your layoff claims. That said, I won't make wild unsupported claims. In 58 days we'll know with certainty. Better get that crow cooked up.

Hey "Blood Bath in Des Moines" Guy - definitely won't have to wait 60 days to see the numbers for Iowa. Iowa WARN notifications are usually posted within 48 hours. Check for yourself and I'll see you back here "Blood Bath in Des Moines" Guy:
(my original post was deleted by the moderator, probably for having a link to the Iowa Department of Labor. All you have to do is google Iowa WARN to find the numbers. Should be posted tomorrow or Friday if they stick with what they’ve been doing for the last 4 months)

Get your head out of the sand. It’s going to happen to every group. If you are remote or on a non growth hub …. You will get your notice.

30? Based on what data? Tell you what, in 60 days I'll post up. If it was more than 30, be prepared to eat crow and maybe stop doubting every post about layoffs at a company spending a billion dollars on layoffs.

You are clueless and have no idea what you are talking about! What Charlie is doing to this company is going to be the fall for us all. He will be long gone and millions better off so he doesn’t care! I can tell you when things start picking up Wells will be so far behind because of laying off unnecessarily in PNW it will be a sh-tshow like it was before…the shareholders need to pay attention. He has run the company to this point so how is still running the show?

@vdx your outlook is hilarious. Why? Because this company had nearly a quarter of AMERICANS working here with a stock price in the $60s. We can all argue all day long about deadwood and consent orders but at the end of the day most of these people are hard working, good people that care about our customers and were proud to work for such a cornerstone of this economy. Now? Those numbers you spout include thousands that don’t even live here. Your job - not mine - is numbered. If I were you, I’d start giving a shart. The end goal is to get rid of you. Specifically, you. There are more open roles abroad than in your single town. About 4 times as many and we’re still trying to find more ways to offshore. We have begun a hiring freeze long ago but you can’t tell. We’ve discontinued the view on ZZ. for your fellow employees so you can’t tell what’s going on and we’ve already figured a way to game the WARN system as to not ever look like we axed 1500 people. The only thing better than the “ignorance is bliss” type of employee is the one cracking under the pressure of attrition.

I had a friend in CIB that was displaced today.

Here's the thing, if it impacts you or some one you are close to it is substantial. Be it only a handful of people.

But substantial needs definition, because yeah it puts people in a panic

Pretty much all of the lockbox team in MN was let go today

The key word is substantial. Is 200 substantial out of 200,000? 500? 1,000?

The way people keep bringing it up, it's that it's thousands upon thousands. Yet, it still seems to be nickel and dime.

Got displaced in tech today. 8 years of service and chainsaw Charlie swoops in. Wells Fargo is headed to the circus. Good luck to people who still have jobs and others who got impacted.

You’re an id--t. Two of my people got laid off this morning. Just because you’re not immediately impacted doesn’t mean others aren’t.
