If you are not in the list , does it mean you are destined to be laidoff?

Nope, not safe at all. People who received promotions are still subject to the location strategy. But...at least when they get axed they'll get a higher severance payment every other week than they would have gotten before being promoted.
The lay-off strategies are pretty much inescapable. Well, unless you came over from Chase, then you have nothing to worry about.
Yes
no but if you are promoted expect to pick up the slack from those that are laid off
You can’t be comfortable with anything Medusa will do
I know several on the promotion list that are marked for location strategy layoffs.
It exposes what a joke MB is.
Not necessarily, it simply means you don't suffer from a33 kissing and overachiever syndrome and have a life outside of "Well Life."
Could be?
It was a list of all those tech employees under CTO. Titles like senior and lead. I recognized maybe a handfull of folks that I knew, Most were indians based on all the names. It was just a feel good story noted by mgmt that they are actually promoting people from within.
What list? What LOB?
Was it sent only for the CTO org? Some kind of transparency now 😀
Promoted list? What list?
