Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

The Future

I feel bad that the bots are really strong here, but what I am going to say, is true! If you don’t live near a hub, your days are numbered! Start looking! Being honest!!

Yeah, well, it's the reality of the situation. There's a reason there are different classes of hubs. It's the order in which they'll be closed.

Pick me! I will gladly take my severance. Will not shed tears of sadness that’s for sure.

I work for Home Mortgage in California Collections been here for 5 years. We haven’t seen any recent Lay Offs since the middle of last year. Keep seeing loans being serviced released to other companies but no lay off. California will be one of the last LOB lay offs for collection is what I have been told.

As a non hub person that was laid off due to location strategy, this post is true! WF did take care of me with a nice severance, I did receive my bonus and 401k match and they paid out my vacation and covered my benefits for 10months. Can’t complain!

More of geniune posts here then bots. Anyone who has been moved temporarily into other LOBs should start looking as there is another cut coming. This will be a big reduction in line with Charlie's "efficiency and cost reduction" plan. Additionally, if you apply for any internal jobs, rest assured that most of the positions have already someone chosen by the hiring managers. You will need to know someone internally or the hiring manager to be given a chance to interview. This was told to me by someone in HR who was also let go last year. This is all a gimmick. And it is sad because one would expect that any hiring manager would try to look at internal candidates to help them get back and retain talent. But that is not the case. They still have many doing nothing and escaped the cut because they were in a hub. Not because they were productive, smart or to performer. While some of the top performers and experienced got laid off because they were not in a hub. And those who are executing this are nothing but following orders. In other words there are no leaders. Only managers.

What bots are you even talking about? Just having diarrhea fingers today. Wells will cut the necessary head count everywhere. We could end up like NASDAQ who are transitioning to a technology company.
