Today Honeywell hit by Latest Lawsuit over 401(k) Forfeiture Handling

According to the Daily Labor Report dated 2-13-2024 -

Track Docket: No. 2:24-cv-1194

A former Honeywell International Inc. employee brought a proposed class action on Tuesday against the aerospace technology and manufacturing company for allegedly mishandling unvested 401(k) contributions that a worker may forfeit when exiting the company.

Plaintiff and proposed class representative L. (OMITTED FOR THIS POST) said in a complaint that the Employee Retirement Income Security Act requires Honeywell to use any unvested, forfeited contributions to cover the plan’s expenses, but that the company had instead used the money to reduce the company’s own contributions to the plan. Honeywell employees who participate in the company 401(k) plan are immediately vested in their own contributions….”

So glad I don't work there anymore. Current company does 1-1 match ON TIME at a percentage higher than Honeywell ever did.

Anything they can get away with, they will do, until slapped down through legal pushback. Been here long enough to see it happen over and over. Really evil people have been in positions of power at Honeywell for a long time. They gleefully sc--w over the people that make the profits happen any way they can and even in ways they can’t. They really do hate the people that make them all the $$.

Surprised? Not at all. I mean come on now these peasants actually expect to be respected for their contributions AND to get paid? What next, a monthly pension and class leading medical ins? What do they think it's the 1980s or '90s? MUHAHA!!

Anybody really surprised? They use employee health care premiums the same way. If they can make $$$ off the backs of employees somebody gonna get a fat bonus and lots of laughs out of the boad room. Leadership truly hates employees
