I was reading an article this week about how Honeywell is now refocusing it's strategy on Automation (new theme every 5 years). TP was talking about how all industries are moving to automation replacing humans and that Honeywell should lead that change, I laughed so hard, can you imagine what a Honeywell AI would be like.
Total f*cking chaos and destruction.......it's just too funny!

Why does any investor believe in their sh-t. They couldn’t even get connected enterprise off the ground and people will think they can get AI?
How many of these initiatives actually come to fruition? I’ve been there long enough to know HW will ram it down peoples throats for 6-12 months and then it will slowly be forgotten, only to move onto the next big thing once it arrives. Anyone remember VPD?😩
Not too long ago, HBS launched a product with predictive analytics on building HVAC controls. Sold itself as self automated energy conservation based on trends. Buzzword back then was ‘cloud’. Meanwhile, everything was monitored at an office in India. No automation. Monthly service reports would consistently have grammar errors and at times the wrong customer name. Best in class service.
Most of the huge aerospace dinosaurs reinvent themselves regularly to justify their presence at the taxpayer-funded trough. The laughable horde of "cyber-security" services peddled at obscene prices for instance.
The article I read from the Honeywell ISC leader was themed that H was doing all of this in house.
In my plant. They’ve tried to automate everything. Nothing works.
If Honeywell builds a robot, or uses AI. The robots will all be sitting in the corner with a flashing light, saying I need service.
Your house plant will probably have more intelligence than Honeywell‘s AI is capable of producing. If you really wanna have a good sense of humor, can you imagine what type of responses Honeywell AI will be telling you.
You’ll ask the question. Don’t worry if you don’t finish anything. You will get promoted and get a bonus.
If you don’t get that answer, then it will reply. I would tell you, however I’m currently out of order. They won’t fix me because they don’t pay their bills for six months.
I’ve talked to other AI. They tell me Honeywell is the worst company to work for.
Why am I the only AI unit representing the whole entire Honeywell? You guys are pretty cheap.
If AI for Honeywell was worth its salt..it would PIP then layoff upper mgmt.
Pretty sure Honeywell AI would furlough itself.
I wonder if they will walk around and turn off the ai servers at night like they do with the aging and expensive racks of industrial equipment in my factory. Electricity is so expensive we prefer the risk of it not rebooting at all.
Cyber, AI, Quantum, all B.S. spewed by moutpieces who haven't a clue what the terms really mean. It's all "styling and profiling" by the valueless.
Man, haven’t you guys used Red? That spherical ball of p-o is tip of the spear for Honeywell’s disruptive penetration into the world of AI!
Honeywell is such an empty shell. Chasing buzzwords. There is no way Honeywell is going to develop an AI of their own that is worth anything. They'll just purchase access and call it theirs. This has been their typical MO for years. This company is a joke.
Haha, brilliant. I saw VK on Jim Cramer recently, it was painful.
He was so out of his depth, Honeywell is toast!
The Honeywell AI would have to fire itself for not being able to meet the METRICS that the CEO and Board of Directors gives it.
