Is anyone working using the ATT attendance policy based on the point system?
I believe some of mobility and some customer reps are using this policy. Basically you get 8 points a year, if your late or absence you lose a point or 1/2 point. One you reach 8 points you are terminated. Could INFOR be a tool to help this policy become a standard across all ATT.

The actual point system is whatever sugar daddy Larry wants from Uncle Fester and the clown show and goat rodeo AT&T Boatd of Directors. Now that’s leadership!!!!!
If you haven’t heard of RTO, you don’t work here. What office are you located at?
Ok thank guys, guess there is no need to worry about thais issue been here 23 years I’ve never heard of RTO either so I guess that’s not worth reading those post either. The only time I heard of people having to relocate was only people they didn’t want any more. and I guess Lowe’s Home Depot Amazon and other companies can have this attendance policy every where in the USA except out west.
Thanks.
The question is will it be implemented in other contracts and other work groups.
The answer is no because of state law in the west.
not if your bargained for! you have to get written up few times before your terminated and in 23 years in craft I have never seen anyone fired for being late at all!
so the system could gig you 100 points unless your manager actually writes you up its meaningless!
I’ve been with the company for 21 years. The point system has been in place for a costume place the entire time. It’s not just about accumulating points, they also roll off at throughout the year. If the company wanted To put the point system in place for other work groups they could’ve done it at any time. They don’t need a new system in order to do that.
If you actually get terminated under that policy, your attendance is terrible and you need to go anyway. It allows for a lot of late and missed days.
Come on. Is anyone really surprised to hear this
Doing a Google search it is amazing how many companies have implemented this type of system Amazon,UAW contracts, Lowe’s, Home Depot , Walmart , Google the list just goes on and on.
It appears it was done in 2018. See link
So yes they can. The question is will it be implemented in other contracts and other work groups. I’m not saying it will but with INFOR they now have a system to implement it. The point system is not new. Many other companies implemented these type of systems
35 years ago. It’s a way to get rid of employees without a layoff. Will be interesting how it plays out with ATT
