Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

You are all spoiled and entitled.

The firm pays well, you work little. Good luck getting same pay elsewhere. You lack passion and should be replaced by someone cheaper and harder working in Bangalore.

Exceeds hasn't been a rating at WF for a decade, so yeah, 'cool story bro'.

Oh they call that india time. I agree they really don’t do a lot of work. At least the people i work with. They are online with the us for 3-4 hours “maybe” there amount of work is half. They are unreliable and chit chat more than work. One guy told me that he could do all the US work. Well he is delusional. That would require him to actually work. They get 6 months off or more for maternity leave they are off more then they are on and have poor work ethics. They will need to hire twice as many Indians as Americans to get the work done or it doesn’t get done. There are exceptions i am sure but i had a high opinion until i didn’t. I do know some that go out of their way and basically work through their night to be online. That is the few. They are very entitled and Charlie should remember they have human rights abuses and not a US Alli they are BFF with Russia

is that why it take 3-4 people in I&P to replace 1 person in US?

OP, it's not only about the paycheck. It's about a fair deal & working hard for that paycheck. People are being misled on that if they are incorrectly downgraded on stack ranking, writing up their jobs for their replacements offshore, having negative things invented on their reviews to downgrade them or install fear in them as it sets them up for the layoff list, have a 401K match only once per year, have to deal with back stabbing, abusive middle management & coworkers, etc. People want a sense of accomplishment in a neutral environment that sees them for what they bring to the table, not on what they represent on a chart or what crumbs fall from the inflated & dubiously earned C-suite cookies.

Harder working, I doubt. The work I’ve seen from India is spaghetti. Made me get the Ragu out.

OP, I'm assuming you are a Wells Fargo employee. Therefore, your comment applies to you as well, correct? Or are you the only hardworking, passionate, non-spoiled, and underpaid employee at the bank?

I don't lack passion, but the insufferable cuñ+$ in Hudson Yards have come to work every day trying to take it from me, that's for damn sure. They have ki-led morale here. Absolutely ki-led it, and they have done so intentionally and knowingly. F them.

Average day in HYD and Bang is stroll into office around 830/9. Check email, get coffee/BS with others. Check email, go to lunch, email, coffee/BS, go home. No work being done there.
