After reading this post, sounds to me there's going to be a lot of plant closures coming. This is a permanent layoff.

About 1/3 ppl fired locally this year. Factories closed. Team in asia removed.

Actually 50% work force from my site were laid off this year , and i was told many more sites are on the way to be closed

Less people to lay off, so the numbers will drop. Plus they aren't laying off anyone of a particular ethnicity.

Perhaps fewer rounds of layoffs, but as far as numbers go, at least in the Intelligrated business, it was the most layoffs in their history. So. Yeah. I don't call that progress.

I think we are going to see several spin-offs to start the year. Which groups? Intelligrated for one. There are too many organizational changes going on.
