Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Second guessing decision to leave…

Left the “firm” in September and have never second guessed my decision until I woke up this morning and realized it was bonus time at WF and I walked away leaving 10’s of thousands of dollars on the table that would be in my bank account right now. Five minutes reading posts here cured me of that temporary insanity though and reminded me why I left. My mental health is so much better now. Even though I’m not making as much money yet, running my own business is infinitely more enjoyable and at the rate I’m signing new client contracts right now, I’m on track to double my WF income by the end of 2025.
If you’re miserable like I was, shed the golden handcuffs and walk away now that you have your bonus in the bank. I promise it’s worth it.

It's been five months and you're still coming back here. You're not over it yet.

“ My mental health is so much better now.”

  • The “firm” headcase who comes to a layoff board on a Saturday to humblebrag about how much more money he might make.

The very picture of mental health at Wells.

Lmao. No, you didn’t. You’re just the nut who obsesses over the term “the firm” and posts this weird power fantasy fiction all the time.

Well written.
We all realize later, such decisions are worth it.
And…Key is the word ‘insanity’.
This is a shabby company that keeps you awake at night and takes years from your life.

All the best !
