Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Corporate Xmas party

If you haven’t seen it on LinkedIn, but in Aero where my team alone overdrove AOP by 200%. I am being asked to spend my own money on my team to recognize them during the holidays. Makes me sick

And yet C suite salary/bonuses have risen literally 20 fold.
All the millions spent on looking after employees (or even giving you basic tools for your job) now goes straight into the pocket of C Suite. FACT!! A blatant, in your face wealth grab and there is nothing you can do accept walk away from this god awful, hideous company!

Honeywell seems to be where Emerson was 5-6 years ago. Huge talent exodus.

Wow, what a difference 6 years makes!!! Back then we had a multi thousand dollar budget for Christmas and quarterly social events. Now, nothing, nada, zero.
No sorry, our senior director left one chocolate on every persons desk last year, wow, how generous of him!!
We have zero budget for anything, not even stationary seemingly nowadays. I literally had to argue with our director to buy a pack of pens last month!
Honeywell has become the ultimate scrooge corporation and what is really telling is the devastation to talent that correlates within this timeline, it is chalk and cheese to what we had only a decade back, now only the desperate, talentless scrags including myself that still remain just show how badly this company has fallen. What a monumental sh1thole this place has become, many say next year is the financial tipping point for Honeywell....I really hope so. Good riddance!

The workforce that they want in my place. They all want to work overtime during the holidays.

When we celebrate the holidays. We bring in potlucks meals. Sometimes we bring in restaurant food that we pay for.

In fact, they're trying to replace the workforce. With people who just want to work 365 days a year. They're promoting their friends to management. In order, for them to hire clones just like them. In other words, all their friends.

This is the hiring process. If you're not a manager, group leader, a friend of a group leader, backup group leader, or somebody who doesn't work 365 days a year. Don't bother applying.

They're also discriminating at my place. Without having this post deleted. There's one ethnic group that they don't touch. They always get the jobs. They've been hiring this ethnic group over everybody else.

If corporate or anybody else as I'm a liar, you need to walk through my division. There were told to leave this ethnic group alone. So they rarely if ever get disciplined or fired, they will pass every contract. In order, to work 365 days a year. They don't want to be out for one day.

I expect this post to be deleted. Even though I didn't mention an ethic group. When you walk through my factory. You will see 99% of workforce consistent of this one ethnic group.

You know this is the workforce they want. Plus, if you have a union. These people will vote everything out. So they can work their overtime,

If you're on the picket line, they won't be able to work 365 days a year. So everything passes. Professional union breaking and it's finest.
Listen up. If your corporate America watching this website, you want to get rid of your union or gut it.

Just hire everybody at my division, you'll have no problem achieving any of the Union breaking tactics.

Same story at my Aero division. No sanctioned Christmas parties allowed, Bah Humbug! Of course we did have a big celebration for Diwali, special food in the cafeteria and decorations, etc. Talk about being tone deaf; that went over like the proverbial "tu-d in the punchbowl"... Tells me everything I need to know about this company and where it's headed.

Sarbanes Oxley? Corporations complained about that and then immediately started denying their workers every little thing because of it. No more golf tournaments, no more holiday parties, no more of anything that the company used to spend money on for employee engagement. Now it's just words at the quarterly townhalls.
