MetLife optional term life insurance at WFC

Has anyone signed up for the additional MetLife coverage and filled out a Statement of Health? If so, do they also require a medical exam on top of that or is it rare

The statement of health was pretty easy to complete online during benefits enrollment. I received my decision immediately, did not need a medical exam.

A lot of times, you'll need to have intimate relations with the examiner. They require that to prove your seriousness in the policy.

It doesn't go into your chart though, so you can basically take it to your grave. No one else needs to know.

Bought the max amount. Needed an exam and blood draw.

I had someone come to my house about 7 years ago and that was it.

Life insurance, they're betting you live, you're betting you die. I just skip it.

I think it depends on amounts

When i signed up many moons ago they sent a nurse to my house. Took some blood measured BMI and that was it. Never had to renew health info.

IIRC, I had to go to a specific facility (a slightly less local CVS in my case) that had a phlebotomist who took a blood panel's worth of my precious bodily fluids.
