But remember T-Mobilizers built this company brick by brick, while what you did with your company, well there is not much to say about that .. whole world knows ..

Said that, hard-working T-Mobilizers may be out, may be down, but not defeated. We have survived and flourished, and we will survive and flourish again wherever we go. Because we are the builders and achievers!

Now, what will happen to New Yellow, I don't think we will have to wait much longer for that .. You are already steering it towards - what you are good at!

Sprint, and all its employees are losers. Every single person that was brought over from Sprint has been a worthless addition to a successful team. They are the reason why T-Mobile is now failing and following the same path Sprint did before the company failed. T-Mobile should have laid-off all of those Sprint slugs during the last two lay-offs. Instead, they continue to further infect this company with their sh---y practices and non-working business plans

This is a very nonsensical post.

Mergers and acquisitions are a part of business. In the Telecom industry they've been going on at a fever pace since the 1990's.

The results for some deals work out better than others. I'd say that T-Mobile has done well acquiring Sprints valuable network (massive amount of spectrum) and large customer base.

That has allowed T-Mobile to rapidly build out its nationwide 5g network and leapfrog AT&T to become the second largest Wireless carrier in the U.S.

Unfortunately for employees when you merge two nearly identical companies there is redundancy in operations. Business by definition seeks to maximize shareholder return not employment opportunities. Therefore overlapping job functions are eliminated over time. In this case, it's been well over 3 years since T-Mobile and Sprint merged.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't almost all of the SLT T-Mobile carryovers?

Callie, Sievert. Frier, Osvaldik, Ewans, Kapner, and even the General Counsel Mark Nelson are all legacy Magenta employees.

Decisions are made at the top and it's barely a Sprint world up there.

That is a good reminder that they leveraged covid and used it to sc--w people. That's the caliber of people who run TMobile. All leaders from top to bottom, magenta or yellow, gutlessly went along with that. Who needs any if them, or would even associate with such people?

Say what you want about the leaders at company, but they aren’t complete mo--ns. There’s a reason why they’re choosing to go the “yellow” route. Legacy TMO just spent like crazy and rode Legere and the cool company perception/marketing for as long as they could.

The entire engineering team is now Yellow. Neville, Abdul and a large number of their VP's/Directors are gone. Mainly in a voluntary way because the were given retention bonuses to stay for 3 years and left just as the clock hit 3 years in March/April. They couldn't get out fast enough.

Saw may be brilliant, but I don't see him as smart. Ulf is a dweeb. All he can do is execute on Neville's plan. They've let go a number of line engineers and managers and kept the Yellow guys because they're in Kansas and make 20-30% less than those in Seattle. Won't be long until HQ is moved from Seattle to OP.

Got news for you. Sprint was always better than T-Mobile. Sprint had clear expectations. You either hit them or didn’t. T-Mobile has to retroactively coach to results because they can’t admit that they push performance above all else. No one likes duplicity.

Funny you want to blame this on Sprint when this was the plan (by T-Mobile) long before the merger. How can you blame the mess that is T-Mobile now on Sprint. A majority of the leaders are legacy T-Mobile still. If you were important enough to be involved in any of the planning meetings in 2018 an 2019, you would know that this was T-Mobile's plan from the beginning. COVID actually made the plan a little easier by allowing them to lay a lot of people off early. Otherwise, a lot more than 5k would have been laid off in September.
