I’ve noticed a recent marked increase in the use of consultants here. In the last 6 months it seems every single “leader” suddenly also has a consultant they’re working with to “guide” the biz. And help them do their job. Has my radar up… wondering if it’s happening across the entire organization or just my particular business.

Checkout who has been viewing your LinkedIn too, its an early warning indicator when a consultant has gone through your page. Many guys got the boot last year after having their profiles viewed by the same guy!!
