Who are all these people getting merit increases of 3%?

I've been getting 3s and 4s in ratings and only got 1.5% - 1.75%.

Pool is flat. Managers manager dictated numbers, I did t have a say. If you got a 2, expect 10% decrease, 3 is flat, 4 is 10% increase. Merit - 0 if 2, 3% if 3, 5% if 4.

Lower than last year and we were told last night fire drill coming today, so assuming more cut, gotta find Tim’s back pay and a layoff slush fund.

CIB director, bonus numbers are flat, but we will take it! Merit seems to be hovering around 3 percent if you are meets, a bit higher if you are exceeds or consistently exceeds

Last bonuses a lot of us will ever get from Wells. Take a piece of advice, don't go out and blow it. Severance doesn't last long and the job market is bad and trending worse. You're going to need this $ to get by on in late 2024.

Total comp pool flat in my group. Aka anyone who got a raise last year likely will get less bonus this year.

i always give more than last year. this year gave my team last year + 10% +. as long as the work day rules don't bark at me I put it in. I do this because I know there will be a haircut or two and would rather start high and work my way to flat than start flat and having to go lower yoy.

Yes, managers can just pay whatever bonus they want.

Even $1 is good for me. US government dragged me to be a beggar after outsourcing.
One time meal a day will be my retirement days. Charlie and his friends have all the money showed to their a-s and eat lot of sh-t and die. I do not care anymore

When is the deadline to submit by managers this year? Without target , does this mean managers get to decide on any amount?

Hey be happy with “flat”. Be even happier you’re not Bank of America, who has been cutting bonuses for the last several years in favor of buying back all of that stock they floated to keep the doors open in the GFC (because they’re id--ts).

TVC as many anticipated lowers your bonus. Instead of a target bonus rate tied to your salary, TVC gives managers a static pool to divide among the team. This usually means your year over year bonus will likely be the same.
