The coordinated downvote activity has all of a sudden disappeared.

No, I’m back!
They’re back. I’ve watched several posts that had all up votes over time. Suddenly (in a very short period) the down votes are piling up.
I don't know about that but I see a lot of posts with 50 , 60. 70. 80 fake votes from someone upvoting themself with a VPN or whatever. just sayin. who cares. must have a lot of time on their hands.
@2obk: I guess, you are right, but I think he / she is more interested in RM, since she probably fired popcorn. Since RM topics are not here, popcorn has no interest except for once in a while whining that layoff site is not talking about layoffs.
Popcorn used to sit in his kitchen (with the Bay Window option!) and run votes up and down all day. He gave up, for the most part, after everyone realized what he was doing.
Wait - so all those downvotes were flagged. Wow…
The site runs a simple algorithm for tracing up and downvoting activity on the site. When a barrage of voting is encountered for a particular topic or a single comment, the algorithm will determine the frequency and the IP source. If determined to be coming from one particular IP address, the vote count coming from that source is reset to 0.
Does anyone know how that coordination actually works?
They're back. I called NH's email a bird brain move. The comment had 16 up votes and now it suddenly got 16 down votes. It's really pathetic that this is how senior management acts towards any criticism of their mind numbing decisions.
The alphabet soup is at play
Mention anything negative about RM or HR, and they'll be back again.
The usual layoff down vote squad are sequestered by RM creating lists of human beings of the straight male persusion of pale complexion who are to be disposed of in 2024.
