Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Laid off?

I just ported my numbers out from T-Mobile. It's actually liberating. The bill for my service is the same with T-Mobile's 20% discount. Lol. If you were laid off are you staying or porting out?

I can only conclude a lot of you were really bad at picking plans, as employees thats a shame. If you don't have a minimum of 4 free lines and $0 add ons like One Plus promo on your account, you were just frickin clueless about the companys offerings when you worked here. You're not going to get the same price anywhere 20% discount or 75% discount.

As soon as the bill reflects their sad excuse for a discount, I’m talking my four lines to VZW. I can get a better rate without that ridiculous “Alumni Discount” from them. It’s the second to last tether to the Magentaverse. Just waiting for the stock to clear so I can sell that. It will be a GLORIOUS day! Completely Magenta free!

Never ported TO T-Mobile, always knew the bus was coming, although it took a bit longer than I thought. I didn't want to move service twice. And then the security issues made me feel smart....LOL. Peace.

I’m leaving as soon as possible! I want NOTHING to do with them. I refuse to put one penny in Sievert’s pocket. “Alumni discount” my a-s! KEEP IT!

The military and over 50 plans are better than the "alumni discount"

As soon as my 75% discount falls off, I'm moving my lines away.

I ported out as I was laid off right before the 20% discount was offered. After being with them for so long, I didn’t realize I could have service in Walmart, hospitals, and in busy areas of town LOL. What a change it has been, in a positive way

I ported out to AT&T and have had way better coverage and less dropped calls. Even when on T-Mobile was always worried about my data being leaked or hacked with all the breaches that happen.

I’m porting out. The 20% discount was a slap in the face and the plans at other carriers are about the same with that discount anyways. Would not stay and give T-Mobile business.
