HR hiring process is a total mess with this person doing that that person doing this Buenos Aires does this but no don’t contact them for that.
Literally takes months and most of the work falls back to the hiring manager. And business units pay millions in allocations for a really broken HR.

Since you are on a layoff site looking for a job, your best course of action will be to quit right now.

Most of the large companies are slow moving on random (non-college) recruiting. It's a waiting game many times.

October is their Holy month. They will not return to Human form until 3 days after All Hallows Day.

By the time they get to you with an offer, you’ll be preparing for retirement. Go apply at another O&G major company.

Yes, it’s that bad. Out HR is farmed out overseas. It’s takes 3 times as many people to do the job of one resident.

First round offers have been made. You are not a first choice. If enough offers are declined, you may have a chance. Unlikely though. Keep interviewing. There are better companies.

If you have less than 3 year’s experience after your last degree and if your last school is one of the core schools where Chevron hires from, go back to your school and contact the recruiting teams. You will have more chance of getting in.

Those employees are being reorganized. They are currently applying for their own jobs. They don't care about you until they learn if they are still employed. Give it another month.

And yes. HR is that bad. Just ask any high performing PSG 22-23.

Between waiting to hear back from them and getting offered the job and walking in the Chevron doors on my first day, it took a total of 3 months. I was one of the unlucky ones I guess. End of the year is the slowest…when you hit the holidays, forget it. Everyone takes off work and that will just extend your wait time for another two weeks.
