Inventory

My club is having inventory tomorrow and the hardline side is jacked up locations, are not correct and we are missing so many items in electronics its ridiculous who ever was doing the audits in electronics was just padding the numbers tomorrow is going to be a disaster and I'm just a produce associate helping out.

@1tnz+1oyS3AAb, you are right in that they don't want high shrink. they hate losing money.
what people don't know is they aren't losing as much as it would appear. they're manipulating the on hands to make it look as though clubs are high shrink.
it may appear to the club that they have lost. but corporate can add items to your club on hands that were never even shipped to the location.
this is an extremely easy way to make a club's shrink higher than it actually is but still not lose company money. that enables them avoid paying out more sam's share while still making massive profits.
you're drinking the corporate kool aid if you don't think home office doesn't look at every possible way to shaft club level associates while padding their accounts.

This is the end result of corporate's decision to get rid of the audit team. I don't care how much shrink they have. It's corporate's fault.

Nope. Nice theory, as misinformed as it is. High shrink is not what they’re aiming for to avoid Sam’s share payouts. Multiply all this shrink by the number of stores in the chain, and they’re paying far less in bonuses. Comments like this are just pandering to the griping crowd and spreading misinformation as well as a contagious bad attitude.

it's all part of the corporate plan. they love high shrink now. they'd rather have shrink than pay out sam's share to hard working associates.
