Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Honeywell job titles - CTO

I was randomly browsing LinkedIn and noticed that there are way too many CTOs in Honeywell. What is the deal with so many CTOs in one company?

If anything is going to bring unionization to Honeywell it would DA's actions. Increases in his yearly compensation eclipsing that of an engineer's entire lifetime earnings. And we engineers definitely are not low end compensated folks.

DA's tenure was a heist. Why does he still have a role and sit on the board of other companies? It is a club and they are all at it.
If the average person REALLY knew how criminal the corporate game in America is today there would be straight out civil war. It really is no exaggeration to state that America is now a bona fide cartel corporatocracy and getting worse.

If someone were to do an analysis of pre DA era and now... one would find that its too top heavy organization in all SBUs. More of CXOs, VPs, VPGMs, Directors everywhere and less of individual contributors. Expection is to grow YoY? A good model!

It is yet another symptom of a company that thinks it is bigger (and a bigger deal) than it is. Taking an already not-big company (sorry, but relatively speaking, 90k employees is not a huge company), and making 35 even more not-big companies (eg GBEs) and giving each one a president, a cfo, a cto, a coco, etc. is mo--nic. In an actual, properly ran large company, all those chiefs would be vice presidents (possibly svp) and maybe even senior director or director, and there would be more centralization. Or it would be completely decentralized and you wouldn’t need people like the son in law and his team.

“T” for “technology”? LOL
It is a solid company though.

The "T" does not stand for Technical but rather Transitional. Chief Transitional Officer! (pun).
