Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Finding out coworkers status

I know T-Mobile doesn’t advertise lists of those laid off, but is there another forum or way to find out who was let go vs who was retained?

According to clown logic of Edwidge, if they didn’t tell you, then you weren’t that tight to begin with.

Last time the slack accounts were deactivated that day, but I'm noticing some people let go are not deactivated yet.. may not be updated until end of this round..

My badge still worked to get it, but was stopped by guard.
I was returning laptop etc and he took it from me.
Asked for a receipt or something that proved I dropped it off and he said they had nothing.
Took a photo of her with my stuff and left.

See ya biatches

If you don’t already know, why would you care? You people.

If you report to an office, will your badge still swipe and let you in during the “gardening” time of 60 days if you get canned?

Asking because I would need to pickup stuff from my cube since I’m off this week.

You can also become friends with security guards who have access to the badging system.

That’s what I did in COS.

Here’s an idea: Don’t be a di-k.

Employees’ computers are being shut off the day they are laid off. If you are laid off and want to know who else was laid off or who is staying, sounds like there isn’t a solid way to find this out unless:

  1. You’re besties and have their personal contact info so you can “Ask them”.
  2. They decide to post it on LinkedIn.
  3. You were on the same termination call/meeting.

And for those retained, you can know by tracking Slack statuses.

Thanks for those offering legitimate answers.

Slack as everyone said. If the account is deactivated, they have been let go.

As mentioned, it appears everyone affected is getting a standard out of office applied to their mailbox that says they're transitioning out of the company, and their Slack account gets deactivated. I don't know of any way to automatically scrape this data. If you follow a lot of T-Mobile folks on LinkedIn, you'll see a lot of goodbye messages in your feed from people in your extended network.

In outlook you can see who they have been communicating with. You can then make deductive reasoning if they are communicating still or if the same people they were communicating are still the same ones.

You can tell if they have an automatic reply when you go to compose an email. Also check slack.
