Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Why arent Climate Activist protesting RTO initiatives?

Hundreds of thousands if not millions back on the roads who could and have easily worked from home for year now sitting in a two-ton emission-producing vehicle for hours each day seems like it would be the perfect item to add to their agenda.

The Tonga volcano eruption last year increased atmospheric water 10% and is causing the warming this year. Not you driving into the office. Trust the science, from NASA.

T is getting a huge tax breaks by having employees RTO from the cities they are at. This is the main reason why they are forcing people back to the office. $$$$.

The solar spots run on a 25 year cycle this impacts the earths and all planet's temperature. The top of the wave crest will be 2025 after that it goes down and a new cycle begins.

What does this mean: It means that there are only 2 more years to push their agenda. After that they can start claiming that the changes are having an impact on the global temperature along with all new regulations fully implemented. Nothing different from ancient shamans and priests using cycles in the sky claiming magic or super powers to control their subjects and remain in power.

Because they are all unemployed and live at home in their parents basement so they dont realize that people even commute.

Pretty much this. People who have time to protest don't have time for work.

Seems like carbon offsets should also include employees telecommuting.

Because it was never about climate or the environment. They just want the lower classes to consume less. Keeping them poor works too.

Only those affected by RTO care. Where was this energy when others were called back to the office way before 2023?

People don’t care until it affects them personally then all of sudden they expect others to care.

Quit crying, and be grateful that you are still Hybrid. Many have to report 5 days a week. Yet those aren’t the ones on this forum crying about it. It’s those that have to report 3 days a week or 1 day a month on here expecting sympathy.

The only ones that I sympathize with are those that are in a terrible situation where they are forced to actually relocate.

Because climate activism isn’t about climate. It is another wealth distribution Ponzi scheme by globalists to make you poorer.

Office commutes just get replaced by runs to Costco when employees WFH. There is no reduction in mileage.

Even climate activists know employees weren't working when out of the office and hanging out at home.

Climate activist's want to make money off of electric cars and green energy. They can't do that if we are working from home.

because the global elite happen to be the ones using Climate Change to manipulate and push their agendas expect blackrock to twist it and claim that RTO helps climate change

Weird how local, state and federal governments who say they believe in man made climate change also need those same people driving in to prop up society.

It’s great in theory, terrible in application.

It was the perfect time to kick off a real reversal of the “most existential threat in our lifetime “, but dang it’s hard to collect enough taxes to pay for all the stupid ideas like climate change if people stop driving to work.

Why isn't the GOP touting Trump to Gen Z as the only candidate incompetent enough to usher in a deadly pandemic that will restore WFH for years to come?

Get back to work.
Remember AT&T policy for technicians is they may not idle their company vehicles unless to charge batteries, but never for comfort afforded by the A/C of said vehicle.
We hear your cries, and we have a hard time caring.

I’ve found that most climate activists are more passionate about their bank accounts. Most are hypocritical, draconian measures only apply to the other person, they think they are special and exempt. They fly in private jets, have second and third homes (Bernie), drive large vehicles, etc..

They aren't protesting because a lot of their funding comes from corporations.

The people on the street may believe in these causes, but a couple levels up and it's all politics and theater.
