Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Continual Layoffs

They always say no further layoffs in the foreseeable future. That means they must be short sighted as it was continual during the years I was there. I wasn’t laid off. I quit as the uncertainty makes a very unhealthy environment.

Can't see the layoffs ending without an expansion into new business. Prior to merger T-MO was at 53k employees and Sprint was at 28.5k employees. With networks now merged, and billing almost merged, is there justification for current T-Mobile to have 17k more employees than old T-Mobile had in 1Q 2020?

My worry is that the severance package gets worse with future layoffs. Feel horrible for folks being laid off now but you have to admit the severance is extremely good.

There will still be more.
In 6 months they will hire and train newbies, then in a year….. you know the drill.

Yes, my ORG was hit last year, this week. We were immediately told that there were no further plans and we had reached the headcount target we needed.

Rumor has it, we’ll be impacted again this round.

This is final straw for me personally. No more.
