FirstNet was laugh since the beginning. They got paid just to get appointments, which should tell you how well the network has been received. The first few years were caviar dreams due to contract requirements, really no notable production wins and none since. Sales reports new adds when they are actually existing business lines from commercial customers.

“We are 5 years into a 25 year agreement with the government. “

Lol, meeting exactly zero benchmarks set forth in the agreement. Full of sales integrity issues, but everything is on track with FirstNet.

Firstnet is probably safer than a lot of other parts of the company. We are 5 years into a 25 year agreement with the government. There are not a lot of people at at&t who support firstnet but a lot of managers trying to claim some part of business and mobility to stay safe.

FirstNet was simply a disaster. Table days at fire stations , absolutely laughable. Hidden churn on data devices, which by the way happens on regular business accounts every day. I know of people lighting up data sims for customers on existing devices and waiting 30-60 days to deactivate the old sim for the same device. Not a new add , just a switching of sim with a new number. That’s how people operate on the business side…

FirstNet falls into public sector now and is as safe as one can be at AT&T, there is operations and other divisions but the title of FirstNet ASCs is gone and they are now titled Public Sector Mobilty CSEs each now responsible for a small territory - a couple of counties where they will sell FirstNet and non FirstNet service, territories are small and won’t be viable for longevity and big comp payouts from growth add to that a revenue quota which the smarter ones are scared $-less of because now they can’t get away with all the false churn they did as a standard everyday practice, also they don’t get full quota if they dump work over to bat team, so yeah it’s safe, until the performance plans are implemented to manage the true bottom feeders out of the business.

We're all merely a tool for the company. Once we're worn out and/or no longer needed we are disregarded. No one is safe. The days of working with one company to retirement no longer exists.

FirstNet will never be safe. They’ve spent 5 years converting commercial T lines to FirstNet and reporting as new. The network is a joke, V laughs at T over the pathetic rollout and customer retention numbers. It won’t last, look for something else quickly. Once the FirstNet authority audits the performance and actual net adds, they’re done. Again, should be referred to as LastNet, no integrity top to bottom.
