Based on what MW said in the townhall it seems like he's coming after IT again to cut costs. We are already extremely lean in IT as it is.

IT digital platform orgs not providing actual value to the business units is why IT is about to get slashed.
Upper management should take salary cuts before cutting the already skin and bones IT department further. At some point MW might realize the problems his layoff obsession is causing. Take a cut MW!
For those that post about "deadwood" it is to be hoped that when YOU get the call from HR you will then consider why you became deadwood????
