Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Don't expect a raise

We all know DXC is the company that doesn't give pay rises, I don't know why anyone even mentions it. You either joined 20+ years ago and haven't had more than 2% in the last 10 years, or joined recently and obviously thought the salary was good enough at the time. So the company doesn't see any reason it needs to give a pay rise now or any time soon, so it's probably not going to.

People mention it to blow off steam and vent because this rotten company thinks it’s completely acceptable to not give pay rises, because “we didn’t hit our targets as a company” but pays the exec team extortionate amounts in bonuses etc! It’s not ok, it will never be ok, and we won’t stop “moaning” about it! Like you’ve said in your post, many people have dedicated years to this company, so why don’t they deserve a raise?!

Wi---e just received his "raise"...1.6 mil.....could have been well over 2 mil if he had sold at $28.00...d-mby... "William Deckelman, the Executive VP & General Counsel recently netted about US$1.6m selling shares at an average price of US$20.72. That diminished their holding by a very significant 65%, which arguably implies a strong desire to reallocate capital." .......desire to reallocate capital......BWAHAHAHA!....no chit, Sherlock! DXC is a sinking ship...and the rats KNOW IT!!

There are no general payraises at DXC.
All other companies are giving payraises?
Then what is your consequence?
Simple as that. It's your decission, wether you leave and get more or you stay.

cost of living crisis, unprecedented high inflation. Every other company on the planet giving raises. Maybe that's why people keep brining it up? When inflation was around 2% it didn't seem so bad, but when it's 10% it's harder to ignore.

Stop already , for most that met or exceeded some goals for the last 7 years at CSC/DXC there were no merit increases and why should they give any?

You all bi--h but keep working your 50+ hours a week, you want an increase then strike !
