"Getting rid of Warner and focusing on communications didn't work out like the experts said."
The damage was already done. We fell behind on wireless and wireline capital builds because we broke the bank on mergers and acquisitions. If we had focused on communications from the beginning we would be in far better shape.

I know I’m plagiarizing earlier posts- but ChatGPT would make better decisions than the megalomaniac running the show today wearing his Teflon pajamas.

When there's only 1 person (CEO) left after layoffs, the stock will jump to $100.

What are buildings worth if everyone works from home and they are all empty? This is the reality that corporations are realizing. Now think about the plan to move everyone to 9 cities. They’re going to dump the buildings as much as possible but they need to be full buildings so they can sell them and maybe lease them back in some cases of not outright sell. Anything leased they will end those leases asap.

Company needs to review how many “system” teams there are everywhere that are not technical people and just an expensive overlay of high level L2s&3 who serve as middle men & women and give a lot of money to India Accenture to do the actual programming work

“You know what reduces expenses and helps the stock? Employees working from home and terminating all leased property and selling the buildings we own. T is not interested in any win-win scenarios though.”

Really, genius? And what is the value of those things you mentioned? Oh, you have no actual clue? And you just parrot things you’ve heard from others? Got it!

IMO, It’s already taken its lumps from not reaching stated financial goals and the lead cable news. It may be a little undervalued at the moment, still has a lot of free cash flow, as long as they hit their stated goal of 16 billion by year end and continue the dividend.

The elephant is the debt, will need to stay focused and try reducing it for the foreseeable future. That is why acceleration of layoffs, benefit reductions, consolidating resources, selling unused properties, lowering the dividend, tightening of the budgets, etc.. has happened the last couple of years.
