This is absurd. This is revisionist history and absolute bullsh-t. The pandemic really fu---d everything up. If we really want to get technical, it was worse than it needed to be due to the prior president. But let's set that aside because what's happening to the economy is much bigger than any one president and btw, a worldwide problem. Mo--n.
Thanks for your input Mikey
Anyone who blames Sievert for what is going on is thinking on a 1 dimensional plane. Regardless of who is at the helm, as long as we have an economy where corporations serve the shareholders and sham mergers are allowed in Congress, employees will continue feeling the brunt of any turmoil.
View the axe as a blessing in disguise, and find a growing industry (or company)
Legere was way more of a sociopath than Sievert is. Also did way less. But he was a much better showman and many employees fell for it.
We keep talking onshore and offshore. It’s money. When TMO outsourced entire parts of the business through a BPO, it’s remote. What TMO has been doing along with the rest of the technology companies is layoff high salaried, USA, and tenured staff for cheaper labor. It could be in cheaper markets. Or abusing the H1B system. It’s money.
Be realistic, many employees that don't want to return to the office can be replaced with a lower-cost resource that they don't have to pay benefits, provide office space, or pay any employment taxes. They use the same resources a remote worker would.
But he was so empathetic with his why he wore the happy face magenta shirt. And everyone wanted one. Sievert should be wearing a plaid jacket as he's a slimy car salesman.
Y'all aren't too bright. Sievert (aka Sweaterman) answers to the board and whatever whim Timotheus Höttges (Head of Deutsche Telekom) has at the moment. He's simply a well-paid American figurehead hand puppet.
He's trying to say tmo is trying to streamline technology and go more AI? I call BS. They just onboarded 20K offshore employees. I know because I onboarded about 100 of them. Sievert is a POS.
A majority of it will take 2-2.5 weeks. You want quick, they could always resort to a mass email.
MS is a sociopath or psychopath. Just ask his mom if he was always this way. No empathy for anyone. Just a life of transaction relationships. Many C level, politicians, and prisoners have this problem. Yet, this genius took a high performance company from John Legere and ran it to the ground.
All CEOs of publicly traded companies are the same. Shareholders have always been #1. If we're growing enough, a side benefit is a great workplace and culture. When we're not, it's back to the stark reality that none of that actually matters.
It's not Fed. It's corporate greed!
Blame the Fed. They raise rates that cost businesses billions to reduce inflation caused by government overspending. Job loss is the Fed goal.
He is as phony as they come. His legacy will be taking one of the best places to work and making it one of the worst. I don't know how someone like him can look himself in the mirror. I left on my own a few months ago. Best decision ever.
He is quite intelligent but also devious, which makes him a very dangerous person. He cannot be trusted.
He is not a conman.
