Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Anyone else to the point of “f-em?”

Is everyone else just mentally, physically, and emotionally done with this company and their stupidity and last minute poor decisions? Tired of holding up a skyscraper with a toothpick due to cuts and bad processes? Tired of the rising cost of living now even higher due to transportation costs with no raise to help adjust? Tired of being asked to go in to an office where there is a space or parking deficiency and then expected to explain to your boss why you are not compliant if you don’t show up as in the office on some d-mb report in Power BI that isn’t even correct? Tired of all this bs?

Stankey, HR, and every President and VP under him - “If you aren’t miserable yet, we have failed at our jobs.” F-them and Elon Musk for starting this cr-p. And F the country club they all hung out at to come to their bright ideas of poor planning and even poorer execution of their sh!tty plan.

Leadership: it takes too long to deploy the network core!
Also leadership: Lays off key people which creates new bottleneck... they weren't in the right location, you see.

I wish the OP wouldn't hold back and try to sugarcoat it. Tell us how you really feel? LOL I feel exactly the same way and no longer give a rat's rear about T. It's just a paycheck to subsidize my living expenses

Yep. Once again RTO isn't for collaboration or whatever other BS, but to protect the dying gasps of billionaire real estate moguls in an economy that is about to crumble in the long overdue commercial real estate bust. When you are a hammer, everything looks like a nail. They need AT&T and other companies to keep offices open and force the plebs into the office to keep their cronies at the Country Club from losing their entire portfolio. It would su-k if they couldn't play golf anymore or pay their club fees. Or....ewwwww...thy had to play at a........public golf course with the rest of the riff raff. The only way to do that is off your back. You know, you...average Joe or Jane...who can barely feed your family in this economy and couldn't give a rip about golf if it was the last sport on the planet.

100% yes. Yeah, I know I could have, should have gotten out when I could, but its far to late for me. I gave up and do the bare minimum to stay out of trouble.

Amen, sibling. Most of the leadership team I respected have been sent packing in favor of the current crop of glorified sorority girls whose idea of tech leadership is more socializing, face time and PR feel good nonsense and less actual innovation and productivity. I don't remember the last time I heard a LVL4+ manager even mention a customer or a network facility. Just kind of enjoying the show while it all collapses at this point.

I was at this point so long ago that I can't remember when I didn't feel this way about T. I would say it's been close to twenty years.
