The magenta culture is bull. Especially for lower levels. Just a way to keep you engaged and 'obsessed'.

Freier and his lackeys (Dara, Sandoval, Eli, etc) will run this company into the ground. Freier has full reign and everyone seems to be afraid to tell him NO. He's spending money like water, SLT has bet on major expensive initiatives that will NOT produce the revenue needed. So CUTS!! But everyone keep wearing magenta from head to toe, spending YOUR money at the company store, and chugging along.

clearly not otherwise you’d know that when there are discussions about big long-term strategic decisions, freier is never in the room. there’s a reason why he went from owning consumer as a business to going back to being a channel operator.

i know it’s hard to fathom for a store manager or whatever you are, but who do you think can do more damage to a company: a channel operator or the guy who decides on pricing and billions of dollars of stuff given away for free that doesn’t create any value. katz can destroy more value more quickly than freier could dream about.

Confirm spending cuts and tight controls from a year ago. OP is dreaming. The budget is much smaller than three years ago. I think you mean out of control spending in Marketing.

I see the opposite on spending money. We’ve been in a hiring freeze since early May in all nonfrontline jobs and I’ve seen more spending cuts this year than Ive ever seen.
