Is mortgage done with layoffs? If not, when is the next round and what groups are the target?

Are you kidding? Not even close to being done. They are just getting started. I see lots of folks sitting around in mortgage company in Des Moines waiting for severance!

Mortgage isn't dead yet. It takes longer than people think to suffocate someone to death. Will WF ever completely exit the market? Maybe not, but that doesn't mean there won't be a drastic reduction in force facilitated by automation, contracting, outsourcing, and an intentional withdrawal from markets that we traditionally participated in on a large scale. I'd guess that in a few years we'll have 80% less domestic workers in this space. Other than that everything is going great and doing the needful.
