The cafeteria is an overpriced joke for bad food. The restaurants downtown are overpriced, greasy spoons and filthy.
Anyone have any suggestions other than bringing a brown paper lunch?

We have food vending machines inside my location. Last time i ate out of it, I sh-t myself for a week.
Cook a big stinky fish on Sunday. Bring it into work on Monday. Leave it in the fridge and feed off it all week.
Eat the same when you worked from home. Others have made a big deal about having to pay for lunch as a result of RTO as if the lunch at home was free.
Bring lunch from home. Eat at desk while working, then you can go home earlier. Don’t waste an extra hour there.
A couple years of COVID and everyone acts like they forgot how to get a lunch?? Lol
Eat some from under cheese.
if you're driving, head out to Oak Cliff, plenty of good / cheap choices.

I used to eat at Sol's Turf Bar. Pizza's made to order and cooked in a toaster.
Elderly Dallas mafia types guzzling beer at the bar.
Tables were sticky and the chairs ripped with floors that were never mopped.
Don't know if it's still there but Jack Ruby used to eat there on Thursday's when he
wasn't cruising the front door at the carosel club.
The Dallas Soup Kitchen and comes with white, wheat or pumernickel bread.

Salvation Army is not too bad.
The Adolfphus Hotel used to be decent but beware of t employees meeting up there for
affairs.
