Those who know about (or at least work at) RockyResearch (I know it is all HW now); but can you share anything about the work environment and that team?

Com Dev Cambridge went down hard after Moneywell ingested it.
I don't know know Rocky Research's current compensation plan, but you can bet that Honeywell's is much worse. After 1 year, 50% of the sales force will be gone. Managers that object to Honeywell's requirements will be gone. To be replaced with paper pusher yes-man who will understand nothing about how to get product out of the door other than yelling and belittling. You can expect whole departments to be eliminated. Honeywell will state that things will be run until those things break and then it will be fixed. That is a hollow promise. Hopefully you won't have to deal with JW.

@1gfw+1oRPtCSw In my experience HUGE, working systems begin to be replaced by broken Honeywell ones, staff are muscled in from other divisions of Honeywell and quick assimilation to Honeywell's awful HR and IT. All your goodies will soon be history as they strip you bare.
forget about the HW reputation, but how much of an impact does HW have on the function of these subsidies?
Be prepared for poor leadership put in place by HW, 1st outsource ancillary functions like HR, IT, purchasing, accounting and 2nd outsource / relocate engineering to India and Mexico. After HW has drained all profits, chased away talent and chase away customers, they will through you to the curb.
Don't forget the largest company ruined by the post-Allied Signal merger, Honeywell. Allied Signal's name was so tarnished it decided to ditch its name and start working hard tarnishing the Honeywell name.
BW, RAE, Miller, UOP......it will end badly that is an absolute guarantee.
Great company about to have the life su-ked out of it.
