Fat Tax going up again?

I heard the fat tax is going up big time. Any updates on the new health coverage sin taxes?

If I'm 5 lb over the fat limit, are they now going to charge the penalty. Based off how many pounds I'm over.

What's the going rate per pound. If I know Honeywell, it's probably $10 per pound. So I'm going to owe 50 bucks per month, I thought that was funny.

@6ism+1oHBZw7g Sorry bud, I think you are FOS. This board is usually full of sensible people but I agree with the post about nutjobs appearing in the last week or two. I'm out.

@6nhb+1oHBZw7g You are being too literal, I think he is suggesting it should be taxed into society like many countries in Europe and have proper government regulation. In my ACTUAL REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE of living across the globe this is by far the best system. Healthcare in the US is an abomination and I think this would be the best route forward too. This is not a left or right thing, just practical and as close as you will get to fair.

I'm not going for another jab. Nor am I going for a low fat diet. Too many lies told about the jab. Too many lies told about the low fat diet. I'll continue to wash my hands, take my vitamins, eat meat along with plenty of fresh vegetables, drive a gas car, and not worry about the current social thought on any of it. It's all been lies so far.

My bmi says I am obese but I am an athlete and am built like a truck. I always have to get a doctors note for an exemption. Im afraid they won’t accept it every year. To get a “healthy” bmi, I would have to lose about 40+ pounds of muscle. It’s a stupid measurement of “health”

I didn't say that I succumbed to the demand. Only that HON forced it on US employees. Some couldn't afford to lose their income or had other personal reasons to stay so they took the jab. I heard 20% of field workers in HBT left. I don't disagree with the rest of your post. It is spot on.

You still knowingly made a choice as I & everyone else did. Those of us who resisted the tyrannical mandates for medical, moral or religious reasons have been long vindicated. What will you do the next time a jab "mandate" comes down? What will you do when the mandate for a digital ID for a digital dollar comes? People better do some soul searching...

@1ade+1oHBZw7g - not fair. If you will recall, HON imposed the jab on their employees in the US. Workers were forced to get the jab and provide proof (or go through the he!l of submitting and getting approval for exemption) or get fired. Those were the options in the US. HON should be paying for ALL healthcare costs associated with the experimental mRNA jabs - at least where it was required to keep your job.

Don't worry, after several years at honeywell, you will likely be fat or have high blood pressure too.

I am no longer in HW but my health care is 50% of what it was, and I seem to have the same value.

The absolute worst benefits of any large corporation. The sad part is they love it and pride themselves on how much pain they can get away with.

@qag+1oHBZw7g brayed:
"it should, you fatties need to pay up!"

You are either a troll or simply a short-sighted jaque-@$$. Your slack-jawed comment applauds the idea that an employer can financially discriminate against you for "behavioral" reasons... otherwise legal behavior that -they- decide should be discouraged with surcharges. Prepare for the eating-red-meat surcharge.. You'll be healthier as a vegan or bug-protein eater. Drive a motorcycle? Pay up! You're far more likely to be hurt in a collision. Own a boat? Pay up! You have an above average chance of drowning. "Medical" hunting/firearm ownership surcharge coming in 3...2...1... Have a baby? That's an expensive lifestyle choice we all shouldn't have to fund with our medical insurance, right? Use the pill. There is no end to it once you accept the basic premise. Well, I don't.

If they can make a profit off us they will. Only reason it goes up is to take away from us.
