Stankey pretty savage he closed att office in Amarillo and they are opening another office in Lubbock same positions. But slightly different call type. In 4 years he has almost made 100 million dollars. He has received his reward in full among all the other VIPS in on it. It’s sad so many good people losing their jobs, and irony is they can only transfer to St Louis like 11 hours away but att is building a brand new office in Lubbock thats like 2 hours away if not less than that. Same positions too, Leveraged Service rep exact pay exact everything but call type tweaked to hide the obvious.

I never thought I would see the day that at&t, headquartered in Texas, would betray their own city above all the other cities with at&t employees. It's like they are eating their own, what gives?
Amarillo by daybreak. Stankey stinks!
Rule number one:
Always make certain you have a chair when the music stops!
The building in Amarillo is owned by AT&T. No lease and it’s not being sold.
They are laying off right before Christmas. Supposed to be 12/14. Att says it’s just trying to condense down to central centers but they are just hiring new people at a much lower pay. It was nice while it lasted.
Stop feeling sorry for yourself, if you, or anyone else at AT&T, doesn’t like it, quit and get a better job, if you can, which I doubt you could
This is Stankey's standard MO. He keeps shuffling the deck to keep employees on their heels. What a rotten sh---y way to treat loyal employees!
So what happened to the employees?
“long time employees loyal to the corporate culture”
More like entitled deadweight in most cases.
If you think it's a good business idea to run a call center in Amarillo, by all means start one! The trained and experienced employees are already there. Maybe you could get a contract with a major Telco.
All this closing offices and forcing people to move is a cheap form of layoffs and a fake attempt to make long time employees loyal to the corporate culture.
Wow! A bunch of cry babies we have working here. Go with the flow and chill out. We are all receiving a paycheck for work done.
Amarillo by morning! Stankey stinks!
Needs of the business. Nothing personal.
Wonder what made him decide to move a call center out of Amarillo. Was your building sold and the lease is up?
Yep he is a p. O.s.
