Stankey can't even admit when he screws up. It's always somebody or something else's fault. That's how week of a leader he really is.

Oh yeah. It's been a couple of days since the last complaint about leadership. Keep it coming.
Can they do this?
Leadership is a joke. Stank is a schmuck. Freshly fresh looks like a pedo shall I continue.
Can’t wait for the next union contract expiration. Keep an eye on Auto Workers strike. Lots of demands and overpaid CEOs are the issues of the day. At least they have competent CEOs .
A genuine example of a fixed mindset
As long as I get my paychecks, I am happy as a clam.
Stankey's famous response when asked why the mergers failed:
The employees did not execute on my plan!
Stankey is like Wile E. Coyote. Genius!!
It’s not just the debt don’t forget half of the Directtv and time Warner mergers were financed with stock issuance that we pay a 7% dividend on. We do still own 70% of directtv and god knows how much of Time Warner. These mistakes are not paid for yet. Billions are still owed on both mergers. Our customers don’t like us and our employees don’t like working here so yea leadership has ruined ATT.
The EVP job is about cutting cost not growing revenue. The price for poor service has to be paid now.
“Could be worse. Some orgs are being told 5 is mandated regardless of your pre-Covid classifications.”
5 days a week oh the horror. I think the union needs to ask for the 3 day week.
And you cannot spell weak correctly.
Could be worse. Some orgs are being told 5 is mandated regardless of your pre-Covid classifications.
I'm sorry but age is a very importanr factor in these discussions. If we let the older people stay in leadership positions, past the point where their previous experience is relevant, we cut the next generation off from growing as leaders.
This matters the most when the upcoming generations are smaller than the retiring generations. What is going to pay for your retirement if the the next generations don't know how to run a business?
Our AT&T leader John S. is getting his revenge on the employees. John can not stand the criticism so he is at all out war with the employees. Shaking up everything because he is lost his ability to manage. We badly need new leadership top down. How does someone that makes a salary of this magnitude get to keep his position? I looked up the definition of narcissism.
Stankey: It's not my fault the stock price is down. All my bad decisions like T-Mobile, DTV and WarnerMedia aren't the cause. The cause is the investors aren't smart enough to see the value we have created.
Reality: Investors are smart enough to see the value you created!!!
RTO Return to office. Mixed messages. Chris S. says if you take one vacation day you must still come to the office 3 days. Jansen M. says if you take a vacation day that counts as a day in the office and you only need to come in 2 days. Jansen M. is actually a thoughtful and caring executive that doesn't want RTO return to the office to be like some form of punishment. How is it that executive Chris S. can treat the employees under him in a draconian fashion by enforcing an entirely different mandate that Jansen M. We are all employees of AT&T and we want to be treated fairly. This is not the case under Chris S.
Upper management has made some horrible decisions and now that nothing they do fixes the stock price they have gone after the employees every way they can. It's sad. We need a younger workforce they say. Then why is it that the number 1 is still with the company. Our number 1 is part of the old regime that made horrible decisions. You can make the worst mistakes that cost the company billions and the stockholders great losses and still keep your job. You can blame everybody but yourself and not even accept that fact that you may actually be part of the problem.
To quote the great Dilbert cartoon:
Manager: “Profits are down, senior management blames the weak economy.” Dilbert: “So you’re telling me profits went up because of great management but down because of a weak economy.”
Manager: “ This meeting will go a lot faster if you quit putting things into context.”
