For Richmond Ricky post. I would like to know who gets 90 days' notice? Everyone I know that was riffed, and there have been dozens, only received 30 days' notice, if that.....

This is the Wellpoint/Anthem/Elevence I knew and loved: constant reorgs, constant layoffs, walking on eggshells, always worried if this week is your week to go, leadership's "pets" that never get laid off. But hey, be loyal to the company it's a great place to work. My advice is if you get a 90 day notice use all that time to find another job elsewhere.
Can confirm that Rif are occurring end of Sept. it won’t be a one time event. Layoffs continue in Oct as well. Managers were asked to reduce staff.
If you factor in the jobs moved to IBM and the smaller cuts made throughout the year. 10% may be accurate by EOY.

Yes. Was told by VP that RIFs are coming next week, as much as 10% of the workforce.
