Thread regarding SS&C Technologies layoffs

Coincidence?

Hmmm so is it coincidental that Billy Bob canceled the Town Hall meeting right after they started laying people off? I think not. I think that he needs to down a few more drinks before he can come up with a good lie to pass on to the remaining employees. As usual, they have once again laid off all of the wrong people. They have all that dead weight at the executive level that remain untouched. It's always the worker bees that get let go. This just motives the rest of us to start a serious job search because this toxic environment isn't going to get any better. All the new people that they've hired clearly didn't research the company well before they accepted job offers. They'll soon learn that mangers expect 100% productivity while giving the new hires 1% training. Rumors continue to circulate that more people will be laid off this month and next.

Biggest failure of the company is not listening to advice from senior reps. They tell you they want your opinion but shoot you down when you give it. Been this way the whole two decades i been here

Thanks for YOUR opinion on The Twit. Here is the basis for mine...

First: She was introduced to Pharmacy Solutions by sitting on a tall stool in front of a room full of people sitting facing her while she was wearing a low cut blouse, mini-skirt, and 4-inch stilletos. Danny Delgado was very proprietary while introducing her as "my girl Friday" who is always willing to do what he asked of her. Hmmmm. Yeah. Given what she was displaying to everyone in KC, I don't think too many people noticed any business or common sense.

Second: Last October... after layoffs on the Health side of things...she was fielding questions to which she CLEARLY had no clue after positively oozing fake empathy.
Question 1. If THIS line of business is currently making money to support THAT line of business which is bleeding money like arterial spray from a slashed femoral artery.... why did you just chuck everyone supporting the money maker business out the door or send them to the financial side of things? RESPONSE: "Well we have to support the core businesses which are making money!"...to explain gutting the money-maker and not getting rid of DomaniRx associates who could not write a line of code to save their own lives let alone help a company be successful. You know... those so-called and oft touted "medical experts" who just interfere with the IT people who are trying to get the business up and running...
Question 2. There are several associates who are close to retirement or in a solid financial position who would have been willing to go so that younger people who need this job could stay. Did you consider asking for volunteers? RESPONSE: Hair-flip and a squealed "NO!"... neither of which speaks to her ability to handle emotions or pressure... and clearly highlighted the display the fake empathy she was putting forward earlier.

Now she has just telegraphed when the next round of cuts in the health side will occur and we are waiting with bated breath to see who the lucky ones are. We all hope she doesn't reschedule either the layoffs or the town hall. After all, we each have our bingo card of "canned statements to be given during the town hall by Tori" ready to play. Now we just need her to start the game...

Tori Dargati is the General Manager and a member of the board of directors of DomaniRX, SS&C Technologies’ newest healthcare joint venture.

Ms. Dargati joined SS&C Health in 2019 as the Senior Vice President of Business Development. Previously, Ms. Dargati was the Operating Vice President and General Manager at Aero Med, a distributor of medical supplies in the global reference laboratory space, where she was responsible for full profit and loss results of a $500 million portfolio. In 2014 Aero-Med was acquired by Cardinal Health, Inc., and Dargati led the newly acquired entity for four years post acquisition.

Ms. Dargati earned her BS in business administration from Northeastern University.

Star performer by all accounts!

Rumors before last week's RIF had only the financial side of the DST lines of business impacted in September and the Health side getting cuts in Octiber.

Tori-the-Twit Dargati sent a Town Hall invite to the ER Health side of things that is scheduled for October 12th. I'm betting on the Health side getting hit on October 11th.

I'm also HOPING I get cut this time. I'm close enough to retirement that I can handle losing losing this nightmare of a job.... unlike the 50-somethings who still need to be employed for another 10 years and cannot get hired even though they have been looking.
