I agree. Remote and WFH people are soooooooo lazy. I would fire all of them if I could.

"Remote workers are the worst. Followed by WFH. It's clear to me the people in the offices are doing all the work while the slackers at home do nothing..."

Says the person who spends half (or more) of their day being nonproductive in the hallways, break room, and cafeteria, pretending to be productive for a few hours per day, while riding the coat tails of the people who are actually doing the work. Yay you! At least you have yourself fooled, which is important, I guess.

The cybersecurity team just gave the move ultimatum to remote employees. 10 days to decide.

It's official. Relo to a location set by them or get lost. As soon as you put in your decision if you don't want to relo, you lose access within hours.

Hey jump street, that remote role you had doesn't exist anymore effective EOQ. Business no longer needs your whole team. Unrelated - willing to move to HQ? We are hiring a team to do basically the same sh-t you did before, same pay, but requires more skills and 3-5 days per week at HQ. You can interview for it if you want.

Full time RTO is all the rage right. Or in New York. I would expect the rest of America will be folllowing Goldmans RTO policy very soon. Remember Wall Street owns most of corporate America and they make the rules.

How do you expect me to return to an office when I was hired as a fully remote employee from jump street?

Some of y’all make no sense.

“ Just received a note from cybersec today that a physical package will be delivered, and to confirm address if you are remote.”

Wouldn’t surprise me if it was a box to return all our equipment in.

yeah that is my fear as well, first they remove office from my location ; and now they want to get rid of employees who are remote. Shucks. How did you get to know you are positive to go ?

I received the same email. I'm positive that I'm gone though so I wouldn't get any comfort that you're safe just because you received that email. They are definitely getting rid of remote employees where they can.

T-Mobile offers the best secondary job option in the market currently. I see a lot of people work for T-Mobile as a part time now.

What does it matter if someone has a part-time or second job if they're WFH? Does it personally hurt or affect you? Maybe if TMO paid people an ACTUAL living wage they could survive on rather than worrying about where their butts are for 12+ hours a day people wouldn't NEED a second job in the first place. Quit your bootlicking.

There are PLENTY of people who don't commute and STILL need a part-time or second job while working FT at TMO because they 1.) Aren't being paid enough and 2.) Are being forced to live in these expensive a-s HQ cities where COL is astronomically high.

TMO will talk a big talk about how they're #1 this and that and oh so 'sustainable' but how is forcing a large chunk of the work force to commute long distances everyday because their fee-fee's are hurt no are using these ugly, broken, buildings they wasted their money renting/leasing and half-renovating.

I really don't understand the anti-WFH sentiment here other than some angry boomers refusing to change when having the OPTION to work remotely benefits us ALL. Good luck with your delusions of superiority, "potlucks" and that $60 tank of gas your wasting by commuting to the office everyday.

No, he’s not. Your part-time job is just coming to an end for all WFH people. Quit dramatizing your situation.
