Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Time to get angry at the lies, posing and deception

Other then senior leadership, by the end of this wonderful “transformation” there will no longer be an American workforce…other than the greedy top of the pyramid hoping they will sow the benefits from the lives they have unemployed…
They can sell their sh@t products where they hire and employ….GEICO, Progressive if they continue to hire American will hopefully take the lunch money from Allstate every chance they get..
It brings a smile to my face when I remember the lie that the piece of s@it known as Wilson said on national TV in 2019 about protecting American workers and giving back for their work…
Wilson is a liar and a poser and I truly hope and pray that this whole thing implodes in his face and that stock takes a dump back to 30.00 a share so at least he (and the YES sc-m that surround him) will personally lose some of the wealth that they have built on the hard working backs of good employees….
F@@k you Wilson, Rizzo and the rest…

CI was another Shapiro failure…
Taking customer facing employees away from their customers every day to single out and humiliate low performers,
The money spent in execution, training, video calls and the boards and markers not to mention the manager time needing to talk about it in zoom calls every day was tens of millions…for nothing…

@2qih+1o7GPxUs, wow are you right on point about HR.. Their entire job was reviewing termination paperwork to ensure every T was crossed to avoid a lawsuit. I remember we went to HR on an integrity issue about the MCM in my office and we were told to talk it over with the MCM who incidentally was a friend of said MCM…
Training in union smashing, how to prepare a termination, etc was all they did,.Speak to them about an issue at your own risk..,

Allstate is a study in how American corporations fail. First of all, they have no identity or discernible strategy. That sentiment is coming from former employees and current employees. I’ve spoken to countless Allstate employees who cannot articulate the Allstate strategy. They want to be cheap, but they’re expensive? They want to appeal to younger people, but only old people want their insurance.

They’ve “continuously” wasted money in the wrong areas. The best example is the absolute debacle called CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT. This was a huge waste of time and resources for everyone. If you worked in a claims office at that time, it became very apparent how useless this system was when used in an insurance office. The company wasted tons of employee capital and physical resources such as $1500 white boards pretending that they were some sort of high school football team trying to game plan for the big game. They very quietly threw out the whole strategy (after dumping the white boards in a dumpster).

They’ve made it abundantly clear that promotions are based on who you know. Allstate does not have any type of talent recognition or retention plan, which is not fathomable for a corporation of their size. Many talented and senior leaders recently left because of this failure. When is the last time anyone received a bonus? What was Tom Wilson’s bonus last year?

Allstate has decided to go “woke”. No commentary is needed there.

Allstate’s HR policies are amongst the worst in the insurance field. They no longer allow employees to give a two week notice. The policy is now to terminate on the spot. They are merely a front to protect the company, not an employee resource. They used to have reps in the field and now they give you an 800 number to call. They are simply there to protect Tom Wilson and board, nothing more.

Think twice about which company you want to join or leave. This is coming from a long time employee that saw all that Allstate could have been, and what it has become.

As a reminder:
"Let’s create more high-paying jobs and restore faith in capitalism. Corporate leadership and boards, put jobs on your agendas. Investors, ask companies how they are helping Americans prosper while creating a profit. Demand more of management. Delivering higher income through better-paying jobs would be the best tribute to American workers and will restore prosperity to every family and community in America. For American businesses, that is our history. That is our role. It must be our future."

On point… It is frustrating that even if you like and “trust” the word of your leader, you can never trust what they are saying to you because your leader will never get the truth from the leader above him/her..and the higher that you go up the ladder the bigger that the lies get and the more deception that occurs. Your front line leader can’t tell you any truth..:because they will hear it right before they tell it to you….
It is all about the lie that everything that is being done is for the long term survival of the corporation and if the company prospers it means better jobs and safe jobs..They hold out that carrot knowing years in advance what is going to occur so it is about forcing people to give up their children and families and downtime to de-stress with these lies to tell them to work longer and harder to keep their job and in the end will only benefit a tiny percentage of that corporation….the tiny percentage making all of the decisions and pocketing all those millions at the top while nickel and dimeing every policyholder and employee when it comes time to open that wallet….to properly compensate them…
Keep them chasing that myth, lie lie lie..until it comes time to give the notice mandated by law and then force them to train the ones taking their jobs oversees…
It makes you want to vomit…..

Let's not forget that this same piece of human garbage Wilson right after the pandemic kicked off said to thousands of scared employees that there would be NO layoffs. A few months later this same lying sc-mbag introduced "Transformative Growth" and said there would be reductions in force. This lying pathetic sociopathic piece of human sewage KNEW when he said no layoffs and that livelihoods were safe during the uncertainty of the pandemic that layoffs were going to happen. He lied through his devil lying teeth when he knew all along when it was coming. If there were going to be layoffs then so be it but he LIED and DECEIVED employees knowingly in a time of fear and uncertainty. Pure human filth this creatin is. Totally unforgiveable and this poor excuse of a man deserves no respect at all. He is a lesser being and there is a special place in He-l for this evil demon.

Wow! All so well said! Thank you for putting it so clearly!! Glad the employees can learn from this I hope they can hire the Filipino and South African people faster and put the betrayed American Allstate adjusters out of their misery ! The sooner the better for all! Just think Tom, less lawsuits and chance of a Union uprising on your watch.

Wilson would have known full and well what was on the drawing board for Allstates American based workforce in 2019 when he made those public statements which makes what he said a total and unmitigated lie….trying to look like a good guy for American workers…to the American people..
He is as slimy as the day is long and all of this continued secrecy with employees instead of just being honest makes my skin crawl..,Let people plan their lives instead of holding the carrot of a job over their head if they only work a little harder….knowing that the decision has already been made..:
They still try to sell the myth of transparency when they are not even being honest with their front line leadership..until the last minute where they are no longer needed and can be thrown away like a piece of trash…
Wilson should be called out for his lies to the American people in 2019 and this entire leadership team who lie and deceive every single day..
Wilson is a lying s@@m bag,…along with Shapiro, Rizzo and the rest…
I would not believe any of them if they told me there were 24 hours in a day…

Include the BOD in this rant… Allstate has underperformed since this whole TG thing started and the board approves excessive pay for these incompetents every single year….every year these f@@k@rs get millions in bonuses:::
At the end of this year while employees and stockholders are holding the bag, Wilson and those at the very top will pocket millions…MILLIONS….
Non corporate investors need to get sick of the BS said at every press call and dump this stock……
With a leadership team that has lost billions…BILLIONS …and has the unmitigated gall to say “we have executed well.” The confidence was just lowered to BBB in large part because of underwriting problems and this is “executing well?”
The BOD will sit there with their fingers up their a@@ until that stock dumps and the sooner it happens the better because time is running out to save this corporation…..
