I accessed LO.com today to read new posts and got an error message that I was temporarily banned from the site. I've never even posted here until now. just a reader. Anyone else have this happen? What's the basis for it?

Private Internet Access VPN blocked- had the same thing happen to me. att is not the only site. I tried a few other access points and they did not work either. It makes me question how secure my att/yahoo email is. I suspect that it is not.
This is an anonymous board so I don't see how someone could get blocked.
I would not post to this from the corporate network. Everything there is logged.
They will know what and who posted it.
All ex Boy Scouts are banned due to their tendencies.
You are not able to get onto the AT&T VPN through your own VPN.
I had Private Internet Access running on my home network and within 2 minutes of me failing to log onto the AT&T VPN, I got a personal phone call from IT telling me exactly that was the reason I could not log on.

You have been identified by IT as a security risk. You should look forward to hearing from them. Try to stay calm.

If you're using a VPN, someone may have gotten that shared IP banned.
Perhaps Corporate Security indeed has a hand in this and is building documentation for disciplinary action up to and including dismissal. Or possibly the KGB is working with the FBI to investigate and detain those who seemingly are promoting any rebellion, disobedience or God forbid anarchy.

Very possible you haven't. I mentioned it because I have had issues at other sites. Many popular VPN's consolidate traffic and reuse IP's as users come and go, making it appear to some sites that the same user is hammering a site, so they temporarily ban that address.
Getting reported is another great suggestion.
I use VPN and have never had an issue. Maybe a post from a T work site has identified juvenile posts from T. The sending a message to their support for clarifications or causes for being banned.
Read the terms and conditions for possible causes.

Many websites will restrict access to IP addresses that seem to be sending too much traffic during a certain period.
