Manger was definitely involved. In my team they let go the least productive person.

Yes the manager getting the list is the worst thing a company could possibly do. You couldn’t perform a WFR without your front line managers. Dell is an HR run company. It’s also a highly political company.

Seems someone previously laid off trying to relive the event over and over and over
Wasn't necessarily your manager, in my org it was the director. Managers didn't have a clue and was just handed a list of names. Doesn't matter when.
Who gives a sh-t. Time to move on. F this mess.
