Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Bring back competent mortgage processors

Please dear God forget this hub cr-p and bring back our mortgage processors that you got rid of just because they did not live near Charlotte. I would be sure it is the same at every hub. There is little to no talent in these places. A loan of mine was assigned to a processor who had no idea what she was doing. She totally humiliated myself and my realtor with our borrower. Does no one see this? It is obvious Wells Fargo could care less about business to do this. Either correct this or shut down mortgage. The processing managers are even worse than the processors!

Hudson Yards doesn't want competent people. Competence might encourage retention, and that's the last thing they want.

lol, SF is a total sh-t hole. I'll take a place with tumbleweeds every time. At least out here I don't need an app to track human fe--s piles on sidewalks and the gov isn't handing out dr-gs to addicts. Tens of thousands of sane people have bailed on that place and for good reason. Funny you mention "shanty towns" considering the prevalence of homeless encampments in Cali, and the fact that a tiny shack of a house on a tiny lot costs a million+. 😂

I am hearing from sales that Citi jumbo rates are still about 25 basis points lower than ours, and our PMBs are supposed to sell the client based on the experience. Note - this is in the bay area, California not some tumbleweed shanty town.

Maybe get on loudspeaker? and request that the underwriting be automated via Fargo (AI). That is probably going to happen in the future -- probably by a central JPM bank.

Are we trying to say being a mortgage processor is complicated?

It's incredibly unlikely that the best person for any job just so happens to reside in one of the few locations your LOB will allow you to hire in. We will be stuck with second rate talent as long as this policy remains in place.

Better to go to a company that has customer service and doesn’t send confidential information overseas to the Indians. Hate to break it to you but thee are lots of companies with better jumbo rates!

Wells has INCREDIBLY good jumbo mortgage rates right now. Like way better than any competitor. Wealthy people with money would be d-mb to go anywhere else unless they want to pay several hundred more every single month in interest.

I wish Wells Fargo had a support group for wives like me that can't stop cheating on our husbands.

It always feels good in the moment, but then I get home to him and feel a little bad about it. Especially when he wants some right then and there! (Oops!!)

Why would anyone do a mortgage with this SS of a company? Too many other good, reputable companies.
