Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

JVB not leaving but being planted

To the person that posted she was going to US Cellular…. You are wrong. She is going to RingCentral before the AT&T buys them out. Just like she did when she left AT&T in 2012 to be the CEO of Cricket. In 2014, AT&T bought Cricket and her to be back in. Confirmed she is going to RingCentral as CEO, that’s why both RingCentrals CEO and COO stepped down today.

The only people mad at JVB are the lazy acquisitions sellers across the board who are angry their bullsh-t gravy train of essentially scamming is coming to an end.

You'll actually have to go aquire NEW customers from our competitors instead of constantly slamming nonsense on existing customers.

The bloodbath is business is fantastic. The lazy and weak being purged. Management that's play dishonest games with numbers and pressing sellers to stack nonsense onto customers accounts are being purged. The deadweight is being removed from AT&T business.

What remains will be a better organization.

OP is not 100% accurate. JVB was not CEO of Cricket prior to the acquisition. Doug was the CEO through the merger. JVB was the SVP/GM of Cricket once the merger was finalized.

That clown “Mow Kateeball” always reminded of that ‘Chester’’ Jared from Subway. He was another grossly overpaid, inept, stuffed suit that made off with a boatload of “ill gotten gains”.

I bet she isn’t even Dutch. Just using “Van” as cultural misappropriation.

Damn Bro… This looks a “field of dreams” scenario. Write on a website and she will go. We all know she is a female dog but get over it. She will bounce in due time.

Moh Katibeh was given $10M by RingCentral. Wow, did they get duped? He’s your typical terrible T “leader”

AT&T is not going to acquire ringcentral. Why would you make up something SO STUPID?

from Mo' linked in page, you would think he turned AT&T around and yet look at all the money they lost on all these things he's bragging about.

Under Katibeh's leadership, AT&T established a multi-billion-dollar communications, collaboration, and security business, driving market leading growth through development and deployment of innovative cloud-based technologies. Mo has also led one of the largest 5G and Broadband deployments in the world, with the largest capital investment in AT&T's history and a global workforce of over 50K.

Mo was (is) such a pathetic "leader"...

No one cares what you're reading Mo.

Just because those eyeglass frames of yours keep getting bigger, no one thinks you're smart or hip.

No need for that long rambling email to all on the way out the door...everyone was glad to see you go, so you know, just um-- go. Buh- bye. Good riddance.

Mo went in, cooked the books, got huge bonuses from the board of directors, then the underlying fundamentals collapsed and results showed it. Mo did the same at AT&T when he managed Capital Spend in Network. Made a budget, spent it perfectly in paper “landing the plane”, got a huge bonus, then month later HVAC, Camlocks, Generator and Batteries all came to a halt because underlying purchases were all wrong for projects. Great job Mo!

Poor Mo did not last long....

The Company also announced that Mo Katibeh, President and Chief Operating Officer, will be stepping down. Mo will remain a special advisor to the Company and will help with a smooth transition.

JVB was NOT CEO of Cricket when ATT bought Cricket. She was put in charge of cricket after the transaction closed. Soured: I’m a legacy cricket holdover. JVB was never part of legacy cricket.

“No way ATT is buying Ring central
With the debt ATT has , it ain’t buying anything”

  1. I know everyone likes to blame Randall and John on this site. Particularly the old folks, it reminds me of an episode of the office. We do need to throw them out on their ancient butts but anyways. It’s the same ol Board of Directors that already approved the massive debt load that existed.
  1. RingCentrals market and debt load isn’t terrible. Easy buy. Let’s also not forget that AT&T already bills 35% of their revenue on our paper. Isn’t it strange that AT&T doesn’t own a ViOP provider? We failed miserably at AT&T Collaborate a few years ago and migrated those users to none other then RingCentral
  1. Does anyone think it was just JVB’s luck to leave an Executive position to go run Cricket for 2 years as CEO? That is pretty good luck followed by leap frogging the corporate ladder.
  1. I am not confirming this post, as I have no knowledge but it makes sense. But I would have to put my money on another Jenny, like Jenni Bell. The person that was already SVP of Synergies for the Time Warner merger.

She is literally the worst.

Her entire “leadership style” is just repeating buzz words endlessly.

She won’t bring any value to RC.

If true, then it’s a huge mistake on their part

Robbiati is just temporary. You can never have a vacant position of a publicly traded company. Mo is staying on as a “special adviser” with his previous AT&T leadership experience. RingCentral has to protect their share price during an acquisition. They are already down 17%. Robbiati was already on the board, everyone has to protect their holdings in the meantime….
