I know people who work in completely different parts of the bank. 1 common theme coming from all directions is chaos. From all levels of management, workflows, and communication (or lack thereof). So is the chaos on purpose or are executives that incompetent to know how to lead a company, or potentially a combination of both.
The conspiracy theorist in me says the chaos is intentional. Maybe for a couple different reasons:
- Trying to get people to quit so they don't have to payout packages for laying people off. Then replace with cheap labor elsewhere.
- Trying to tank the company/stock price. Get it low enough so parts of the bank (or as a whole) can then be sold at a discounted rate to Citi/BoA/JPMorgan/etc... All exectutives and Directors are from these other entities anyway, seems logical they were planted in WF to "bring 'r down".
If the reason is incompetence, then Lord help us all.
