These Execs need to understand that we are human too. What will it take got them to realise?

These Execs don't give a rat's @ss about employees being human. Why should they when they are raking in millions of dollars a year?

Me topping myself?

Oh no! Don't do that. Don't let Alteryx defeat you. Quit and move on if it is that bad, or at least start aggressively interviewing and leave when you get a new job. The job market is starting to open up a bit, and companies are starting to hire again.

I was made redundant earlier this year and the HR team told me that there is no way the health care benefit could be extended. I'm really not there mentally. This layoff has impacted me to an extent where I'm not eating well, sleeping well etc. I don't want to see my friend or socialise with them. I've never felt so low and there is no help at all....

The execs bring the company and people down with repeated bad decisions on leaders they appoint, roles they create, strategy they keep changing ! Yet they receive huge payouts and benefits like continued insurance when they get axed ! And the poor workers get thrown out just like that - sad situation ! Shouldn’t they try and save more lives

@EDGAR_reader I got laid off in December after 1 year of service and HR wouldn't even continue my health insurance benefits. 1 rule for the execs and 1 for us mo--ns.

If a qualifying termination occurs prior to or after the change in control period, each of Messrs. Anderson, Rubin, Vittal and Lal and Ms. Hansen will be entitled to: (i) 12 months’, nine months’, nine months’, nine months’, and nine months’ of continued payment of base salary, respectively, and (ii) if the executive officer elects to continue his or her health insurance coverage under the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985, or COBRA, then payment of the premiums for his or her continued health insurance (or equivalent cash payment, if applicable law so requires) for up to 12 months, nine months, nine months, nine months and nine months, respectively.

Soo nice that the executives get such nice severance packages in comparison to the underlings.

The stock is down more than 20% after hours. Will the company make it to 2024! :(

There is no question that the wheels truly have come off that brand new blue bus.

Stock is rapidly headed to a support floor of $23-25.

“Her getting fired by Mark was probably the single best decision that he has made in his tenure as CEO. Within just a few months after SM exited Alteryx, the company was well on its way to an upward trajectory and moving in a great direction.”

Nice try with this. The stock reached a 52 week low after she decided to leave.

The downfall started once Sharmila Mulligan left. That was a great loss to the company.

OMG nice try at a troll post. She, single-handedly, was responsible for many dozens of good people leaving Alteryx. If she had been around for even another six months, the carnage as far as people leaving the company would have been much, much worse.

Her getting fired by Mark was probably the single best decision that he has made in his tenure as CEO. Within just a few months after SM exited Alteryx, the company was well on its way to an upward trajectory and moving in a great direction.

I really had to laugh at that troll post. Y'all should too.

The main purpose of the job listings on the careers website is to provide the impression that the organization is hiring. All of those listed positions are as empty as they can possibly be.

4th day of August and still no layoffs. The company is doing great as they have job postings up like this:
The salary range for this role in Southern California is $300,000-$340,000
The salary range for this role in Northern California is $340,000-375,000

It is the executives too. I've never worked at a company with so many people in technical roles that did not have the technical background or experience to be in their roles, as well as having training programs only for groups of employees based on something federal laws prohibit discrimination on. These practices come from the top, hurt employees/customers/company and are the wrong things for our executives to be focusing on.

Can anyone confirm if the 26 people laid off were from the April layoffs or a more recent round? The NY warn notice was submitted on the same day as the April layoffs, so its very confusing

Actually, it is 26 people that were axed in New York. And that is just one state, and only reported because of the WARN Act. There are 49 other states.

What layoffs? It’s August and so far no news of the so-called massive layoffs. Feel like it’s some disgruntled employee trying to start rumors.

Does anyone really believe LDK would have been able to do anything to stop these layoffs? If you do, some of you need education on how a business operates

It’s easy to scapegoat HR, but aren’t they doing the bidding of the leadership team? How is the M&A strategy going?

Don't hire under-qualified people with a woke agenda, rather than qualified people (like LDK was) who truly have the interests of both the company and the employees in mind.

This is nothing to do with hiring a minority. If you are making executive hiring decisions based solely on that, well... you get what the current HR leadership situation is. Or our US vice president, who has the lowest approval ratings of any US VP ever, in history.

"Woke in a big way" ... So don't hire women who are people of color into leadership? Cool, bro.

Soooo we've moved on from dog whistling and are now putting our cards on the table. Can't wait until they lay us all off so I don't have to work with you all :)

The current HR leadership is clear evidence of what you get when you make a diversity hire, rather than hiring the very best person you can for a job.

Unfortunately Alteryx has over-rotated on wokeness across the board. This is mainly because of the racist biddy that the CEO hired from his last company, who quickly left the company after outing himself as the bigot he was.

Then they felt they had to atone for this mistake, so they went woke in a big way to try to save face.

And then you get sub-par people like current HR leadership. Who show their true stripes in how ruthlessly and callously the April layoff was conducted.

Hopefully folks are working on a Plan B.

We all know (and knew from day one) what kind of hire Doniel Sutton was. Particularly after the stellar example that LDK set. His moving on was a HUGE loss for Alteryx. He did a lot of good. Nobody has really seen much in the way of true results or anything earth-shatteringly good from Doniel. She has set the tone for a very very cold, uncaring and callous HR organization and overall corporate culture at Alteryx.

So much hard-won goodwill from the late 2021 and 2022 build-back period has been utterly thrown out the window and lost starting at the end of 2022.

Layoff notifications beginning soon.
