Not so fast- per SVP Summers, the plan is to increase the approx 1k Indian employee workforce to THREE TIMES that number. So after the 2023 surpluses… T is going to hire 2000 more employees in India at lower salaries.
And the execs keep stating this at meetings like they expect US employees are excited about it? Talk about gas-lighting…

Town Hall yesterday . Went on to defend it by saying T’s main/sole purpose is to make money for shareholders and replacing contractors with employees is expensive and they have a budget.

As a former T and Comcast employee I could see the writing on the wall for the last decade. It's simple, Indian workers are cheaper!

My wife works at a big bank and is def a minority as Indian men and women have taken most of the jobs.
You can’t move India jobs back to USA. Costs too much. AT&T will hire AT&T India employees to replace IBM/Accenture/etc contractors.

I see hiring foreign nationals to work on att ineterests is a national security risk. exposing our data to foreigners that will share the data to the highset bidders.
