Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Top 10: What’s wrong with the company

  1. Topheavy, old school management with no out of box thinkers.
  2. Trying to make the company “look like” a high tech firm, instead of just going out and doing.
  3. Not adding value for customers.
  4. Not innovating new business ideas - taking the same package and putting different wrappers on it
  5. After all these years, still not getting the customer experience right.
  6. Off-shoring to save money when there is plenty of talent Stateside
  7. C-levels could make a sacrifice in their salary to show solidarity with employees
  8. Even after repeated attempts, the corporate bureaucracy is still antiquated
  9. Afraid to take risks, especially after repeated failures (T-Mobile, DirecTV, HBO)
  10. Afraid to cut the dividend to pay down debt

Directors, AVPs, and VPs who have zero business sense but attend meetings and do PowerPoints. This company has more PowerPoints filled with more fluff and falsehoods being tossed around as facts. There is zero accountability for many higher ups in any manner. Is what our Executives doing right now pass any type of code of conduct towards your fellow employees? Don't answer that ask your supervisor.
